What We Believe
The Gospel
The gospel of Jesus Christ as referenced in the Bible is the cornerstone of all that we believe and choose to do at Piney Grove.
The Trinity
We believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as One.
Salvation Through Jesus
We believe that God sent His one and only Son to save souls and that He calls anyone to come. He can make you a new person and restore you to His family.
Our Story
Our church has been around for many years, and in that time, God has blessed our congregation and allowed us to pour back into our community. Since our early humble beginnings, we have kept the word of God and ultimately the kingdom of heaven, our central focus in each decision.
Now we are focusing even more on humbling ourselves to recognize that the next generation of believers NEEDS and is LOOKING for a church that can meet them where they are.
In the months and years to come, we will continue to grow in this area as we add more digital resources and modern touches to our services. We have always been a church who welcomes the broken and those seeking refuge, and nothing has changed on that front. We want to always be a community of believers who have their eyes on Jesus from whom our help comes from.

Leadership
Piney Grove is a Spirit- led church through the Pastor and the deacons under his direction with oversight from the church body. We believe that the biblical role of the Pastor is to lead the flock and direct it in God’s plan for the church universal as well as everyone led to worship and unite with this group of believers.
The Pastor and deacons are ordained to serve the church in leadership, direction, and discipline. The church body has the responsibility to oversee these positions and ensure that God’s plan is being followed for Piney Grove Baptist Church.
